Basic Driver Improvement Course has been approved by the State of Michigan's Department of State to provide the National Safety Council's Basic Driver Improvement Course.

About the Michigan Driver Improvement Course (BDIC)
On December 31, 2010 the law that allows qualifying motorist who receive a moving violation in Michigan to have their ticket dismissed went into effect. The law specifically states the National Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course Online.

About National Safety Council
National Safety Council is a non-profit, government chartered organization dedicated to workplace, home and on-the-road safety. NSC pioneered defensive driving in the mid 1960s and continues to lead the industry in curriculum development for corporations, driving schools and traffic schools.
All you need is a computer
All you need to access this Michigan Internet-based Basic Driver Improvement Course (BDIC) is a computer with an internet connection. If you don't have one at home, you can find one at your local workplace, library or school. Once you have registered, you may log in and out of the Michigan traffic school course as many times as you need, allowing you to complete it in multiple sessions. You can take a break whenever you want. Each time you log out your spot is automatically saved in the course, so when you log back in you return to where you left off.
