Approved Defensive Driving Course Program for City of Columbus Traffic Diversion Program

The Traffic Diversion Program is a valuable tool in Columbus City Attorney's ongoing efforts to serve the City of Columbus with initiatives designed to protect the public, promote lawful conduct, and reduce inefficiency in the criminal justice system without decreasing services to Columbus residents. The Defensive Driving Course uses state-of-the-art animation, sound and graphics in an engaging, interactive learning environment where students analyze real driving situations, spot driving hazards and identify and execute the correct defenses. The convenient bookmark feature offers the ability to log in and out of the course as often as you like to accommodate your schedule.

Certificate Process

Upon completion of the Defensive Driving Course the student can immediately print a personalized Certificate of Completion from the National Safety Council. As a Traffic Diversion participant, the student will need to present the Certificate of Completion to court personnel at his/her next court date.
