Army National Guard Soldiers

The Safety and Occupational Health Manager/Specialist will provide you with an “Access Code”.  This Access Code allows a “New Student” to self-register and to create his or her own Login Name and Password.  A soldier should use the Access Code one time only.  When returning to the course after registering, the soldier should select “Returning Students” and then enter the Login Name and Password they created to continue with their training.

After logging in to the site, you will be presented with your “My Place” page. On this page, there will be several links available in the left hand navigation bar, providing you access to several resources. The links include FAQs, My Place, Progress, Feedback, Update Account, Technical Support, and Safety Personnel.

To start a course, click on the title of the course. This course has a Pre-Test and Post-Test. For you to successfully complete the course, you must view the entire course and pass the Post-Test. This training meets the Defensive Drivers training requirements of AR 385.55, Prevention of Motor Vehicle Accidents. As a soldier you can print the DoD 346 Certificate of Completion, which is only valid with the signature of a Supervisor. The Safety and Occupational Health Manager/Specialist will issue The National Safety Council’s official certificate (upon successful completion of the course).  In many States the certificate may be used to lower your insurance premium. Please check with your insurance carrier to see if you qualify.

By clicking on the “Progress” link, on the left navigation bar, you will see your scores for the Pre-Exam, Post-Exam, and Usage. The Usage percentage indicates what percentage of the course has been viewed.

From the “Update Account” link, you can alter your personal data. At the bottom of this page is an option to enter additional access code. Your company may provide you with an additional Access Code to add additional courses or extend the expiration of your courses
